Netflix: Upcoming movies and shows in October

October is here and so is Netflix’s upcoming movies and shows list. This month, Netflix is launching some amazing new seasons of classic old shows. Multiple Netflix Originals are set to be released this month as well. Also, several new shows and movies are going to start streaming on Netflix soon. Shows like Peaky Blinders, Schitt’s Creek, The Kominsky Method, and Big Mouth, are returning this month. The most awaited movie of this fall, El Camino: The Breaking Bad Movie would also start streaming on Netflix this month.

DOLEMITE IS MY NAME (2019)

Description: Eddie Murphy, the Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner portrays real-life legend Rudy Ray Moore in this movie. Ray Moore is a comedy and rap pioneer who proved naysayers wrong when his hilarious, obscene, Kung-Fu fighting alters ego, Dolemite, became a 1970s Blaxploitation phenomenon. The movie was also recently premiered at TIFF. The Dreamgirls performer is currently on his latest Oscar campaign.

Premiere Date: October 25, 2019, Friday.

EL CAMINO: A BREAKING BAD MOVIE (2019)

Description: The movie is written and directed by Vince Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad series. It's long been rumoured that a Breaking Bad movie was in the works, and now the time has finally come. While the acclaimed series may have been the end of Walter White's story, this film picks up where the show left Jessie Pinkman: on the run from the law and the men who held him captive.

Premiere Date: October 11, 2019, Friday.

PEAKY BLINDERS: SERIES 5 (2019) 

Description: The series is set in Birmingham, England and the year is 1919. The show is centred around a gang who sew razor blades in the peaks of their caps, and their fierce boss, Tommy Shelby. In this season, Shelby grapples with the 1929 stock market crash. Tommy confronts new threats to his power from younger family members and fascist rivals.
