After TSK, Suriya is now coming with NGK (Nanda Gopalan Kumaran) and the excitement for his fans is on similar lines. As one can see in the teaser, Suriya plays Nanda Gopalan Kumaran aka NGK and is involved with farming activities like riding the tractor and ploughing the fields. He is loved by the villagers as he imparts digital education to them. Considering his goodwill, he is encouraged to join politics as people feel he'll be able to bring about a significant difference to the country.

Rakul Preet Singh is seen in a scene where she expresses surprise at the NGK’s entry into politics. Though not confirmed, it’s been reported that Sai Pallavi is playing Suriya’s mother in the film, and she too gives him the go-ahead for his political ambitions.

From bloodied action sequences, an energetic dance number and even comedy, the teaser gives us the impression that every single ingredient you associate with a massy film is waiting for the fans.

While it’s normal to see audiences going gaga over the appearance of stars, particularly from South, when they arrive on the screen for the first time in a movie, it’s among the rare occasions when fans did so for just the teaser launch. Suriya fans booked theatres at multiple locations for the teaser, and are seen dancing and hooting.
