Keerthy Suresh nearly rejected Bhola Shankar because of this Rajinikanth film

Keerthy Suresh is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Bhola Shankar, starring Chiranjeevi and Tamannaah Bhatia. She plays the mass hero’s sister in the actioner. In a recent interview, the actress opened up about her experience working with the superstar. The actress also revealed that she initially rejected the film.

Speaking to 123Telugu, the actress revealed that she wasn't ready to play the role of Chiranjeevi’s sister in the film as she had essayed a similar character in Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe. She, however, agreed to take up Bhola Shankar as the director was keen on casting her.

The actress also opened up on her experience working with megastar Chiranjeevi. Keerthy said that she was pleased to share screen space and dance with the star. It was a dream come true moment for her when she danced with him in two songs. 

"It was my dream to dance with Chiranjeevi Garu, but in Bhola Shankar, I am fortunate enough to dance with Megastar Garu in two songs," the actress said. 

When asked if Chiranjeevi guided her on the Bhola Shankar set, the actress replied that he gave "very valuable suggestions". Elaborating on their bond, she added that the megastar used to get food from Keerthy Suresh from home. "I used to get food from Sir’s house every day. After a few days, I started asking sir the kind of food I wanted to have," the actress concluded.
