Of late, rumours of political intervention delaying the audio launch of the Thalapathy Vijay starrer Leo have been doing the rounds of the internet. While the makers have been releasing poster after poster, giving a glimpse into the world of Leo, there has been no official intimation in terms of an audio launch of the upcoming film. The makers, however, have now shared an official update regarding the same.

Leo makers release official statement about film's audio launch
While the makers of Leo have been prompt when it comes to releasing the posters for the film, the audio launch appears to be on standby despite the film inching closer to its release. Seven Screen Studio, the producers of Leo, have shared a brief but affirmative statement dismissing rumours. For the unversed, alleged political intervention is what has been reportedly stalling the Leo audio launch.

Replying to an X post detailing the alleged political harassment the makers of the film are facing, the official X account of Seven Screen Studios denied any such occurrences altogether. Their response simply read, "Sir, this is to clarify that this news is not true.."
What did the rumours suggest?
As per the X post which elicited a response from Seven Screen Studios, the audio launch of Leo is slated to take place on September 30 at Nehru Indoor Auditorium. However, the post went on to suggest that permission for the same has not been given yet.

The post further alleged that the DMK family-owned RedGiant is demanding the film's distribution rights in Chennai, Chenglapattu, North Arcot and South Arcot in exchange for the audio launch permission. Seven Screen Studios, however, has clarified that there is no truth to any of this.
