Venkat Prabhu captures Thalapathy Vijay's fanboy moment as they watch The Equalizer 3

Venkat Prabhu and Thalapathy Vijay are currently in Los Angeles, U.S., for their upcoming film. Tentatively titled Thalapathy 68, the film will feature Vijay in a double role. The director-actor duo, along with the team for Thalapathy 68 are currently in the City of Angels. In an unlikely turn of events, Thalapathy Vijay was seen having a fanboy moment for none other than Denzel Washington.

Thalapathy Vijay’s fanboy moment

Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), Venkat Prabhu shared a picture of Thalapathy Vijay from a theatre. In the picture, Vijay is seen spreading his arms in front of the big screen where The Equalizer 3 is playing. Prabhu wrote along with the picture, “For the first ever time!!! I captured our Thalapthy Vijay’s fan boy moment!” See the picture below.

Washington’s The Equalizer 3 is said to be marking the end of his journey as the actioner. As per the Associated Press, filmmaker Antoine Fuqua has revealed that he never imagined that The Equalizer would get made into a franchise. While the popularity of The Equalizer is immense, it is not unlikely that Vijay is a fan of Washington himself, who has a massive career behind him. 

Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo 

Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next Leo will make its theatrical debut on October 19. The film is headlined by Thalapathy Vijay and is said to be a part of the LCU (Lokesh Kanagaraj Universe). If this is the case, then Leo would be the third film in the installment, with the other two being Kaithi (featuring Karthi) and Vikram (featuring Kamal Haasan).
