Ajith Kumar has officially announced his upcoming project, Vidaa Muyarchi, on his 52nd birthday (May 1). Although the film was announced some time ago, it has now set a commencement date for shooting, generating anticipation among fans.

Filming to begin in Abu Dhabi?

Vidaa Muyarchi is slated to commence shooting on October 4, and the first schedule will unfold in Abu Dhabi. The film's crew arrived in Abu Dhabi on September 24 and has already begun preparations. A source close to DT Next mentioned that the cast will join a few days before the shooting starts. Additionally, the movie has international locations in Asia earmarked for future filming.

What more do we know about Vidaa Muyarchi?

While the official announcement has been made, details regarding the cast and crew remain undisclosed. There have been reports suggesting that Trisha Krishnan and Huma Qureshi may play pivotal roles. Ajith and Trisha have previously collaborated on four films. Anirudh Ravichandran is set to compose the music, and Nirav Shah will serve as the cinematographer.

Vidaa Muyarchi is being bankrolled by Lyca Productions, and recent rumours of the film's shelving have been debunked by the production company. The film remains firmly on track and is a highly anticipated project among Ajith Kumar's fans.

Originally, the project was announced with director Vignesh Shivan, but the production house later appointed director Magizh Thirumeni due to creative differences with the former.  Vignesh said, "AK62 is a disappointment for me. There's no mistake from Ajith Kumar's side. Production is not happy with the second half. I am happy that the opportunity went to someone like Magizh Thirumeni".
