Amitabh Bachchan: Big B gets emotional on the sets of KBC

Amitabh Bachchan turned a year older on October 11, 2019. The Shahanshah of Bollywood is winning hearts with his show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 11’. Amitabh has been a part of the show for a long time now and people widely love him as the host of the show. Kaun Banega Crorepati is on air with season 11 of the show. Recently, Amitabh Bachchan experienced a heartfelt moment at the sets of KBC on the occasion of his birthday when the makers of the show surprised him with a video.

There were many events that were planned for Amitabh Bachchan's 77^th birthday. The show started with a surprise performance by Ustad Amjad Ali Khan. He was accompanied by his sons Amaan Ali Khan and Ayaan Ali Khan. Ustad Amjad Ali Khan surprised Amitabh when he introduced the new raag that was dedicated to him, named as ‘Harivansh Kalyan’.

KBC makers were prepared to surprise him with loads of unexpected surprises and one of them was a video that made him emotional. The video was a compilation of his old pictures with a beautiful message from his mother. Amitabh Bachchan reminisced the moments of his childhood and all those special things his father did for him. The pictures were a nostalgic moment for the angry young man of Bollywood as it portrayed his times on the lanes of Allahabad with his parents.

The video ended with a sweet voice message from his mother where she was singing a song written by his father. She expressed her love for her son and also told how proud she is to be recognized as ‘Amitabh’s mother’. The video ended with this sweet message leaving Big B completely emotional and teary-eyed. He was speechless and managed to just smile with teary eyes. It was the best birthday gift as he not expecting anything like this from his mother’s side.
