Courage the Cowardly Dog: CN's cult show gets a prequel

There can hardly be a 90’s kid who does not remember the cult classic television cartoon series Courage the Cowardly Dog. The show originally aired in November 1999 and had a good three-year run. The fourth and the last season of the show ended in November 2002. The created of this legendary kids show has recently announced in an interview to a leading media channel that there may be a prequel to this fan-favorite show. The cult show Courage the Cowardly dog gets a prequel

In an interview with a media channel, the creator of the show John Dilworth said that they are developing something, a prequel, with a Cartoon network. He said that they are not sure where it is going, as in, how it will develop. He continued saying that it is a proprietary thing, so all he can say is that he and the other creators of the show are ‘very, very excited’. He added that to put it into perspective, he has four times been on the alter waiting for the bride and she has never shown up, hinting the fans not to get their hopes very high, and said that even when everything looks beautiful and you have done everything perfectly, there are things beyond your control. And added a horrifying note for the fans of the show saying that there have been many great shows that never got produced.

So it is still early to say if the show will get a prequel or not, but the fans of the show are already all excited to see Courage and his iconic character again. Only time will tell where this story goes, but for now, fans of animated shows can rest well knowing that another great show, Rick and Morty managed to come up with a new season. On November 10, 2019, the first episode of the show's fourth season released.
