Indian Idol 11 written update: Celebrating the musical hits of Laxmikant-Pyarelal

The eleventh season of the popular singing reality show, Indian Idol, is winning the hearts of the audience with its talented line-up of contestants. The latest season hosted by Aditya Narayan is reportedly one of the most-viewed reality shows of India. Indian Idol 11 judged by Anu Malik, Neha Kakkar and Vishal Dadlani airs every weekend on Sony TV. Here are all the highlights of the last episode of Indian Idol 11. 

Highlights of Indian Idol 11, Episode 11 and 12

The last episode of India Idol 11 aired on November 16 and 17 was dedicated to veteran Music composer duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal's all-time hits. All the contestants crooned to some popular songs of the musical duo. Contestants like Jannabi Das, Chelsi Behura, Kevalya Kejkar won the hearts of the judges with their melodious performances.

A special performance by Legendary Music Composer Pyarelal

Musical maestro Pyarelal and his wife, Sunila Sharma graced the sets of Indian Idol 11 as special guests for episode 11 & 12. The couple received a warm welcome from the audience, judges and contestants on the sets of Indian Idol 11. Music composer Pyarelal was mesmerised by the talent of contestants, so much so that he dedicated a special performance to the contestants of Indian Idol 11.

The performance of all the contestants was appreciated and loved by Pyarelal and wife. Pyarelal also gave some of the contestants training and tips to enhance their performances. The episode ended with judges announcing a no-elimination week. Reportedly, the makers are planning to eliminate five contestants in next week's episode.
