Actress Jennifer Mistry recently made headlines when she quit the show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah earlier this year. Her exit resulted in a controversy when she filed a complaint against the makers of the show. Jennifer accused producer Asit Kumarr Modi, project head Sohail Ramani, and executive producer Jatin Bajaj of sexual harassment at the workplace. In her recent Instagram post, the actress seemingly took a dig at the team of TMKOC.

Jennifer Mistry remembers late brother, calls out fake friendships 

Jennifer took to her Instagram handle on Monday to reminisce about her time on TMKOC, especially one episode where one of her younger brothers made a cameo in a Navroze (Parsi New Year) special. However, Jennifer stated that due to the hospitalisation and the death of another of her brothers, she was unable to post those images from the sets.

 The actress added that has life changed a lot in just a year, which has helped her become stronger. She seemed to be calling out the friendships that “vanished from her life” with the show. Her post read, “Never imagined life changes in such a short span, Malcolm leaving us forever, me not in serial any more, so called friends and society vanishing from my life , above all this case, not forgetting no one to support except family and few real friends... What happened between Jennifer Mistry and Asit Modi?

Jennifer Mistry filed a police complaint against producer Asit Kumarr Modi, project head Sohail Ramani, and executive producer Jatin Bajaj. According to PTI, the actress sent a formal letter to the concerned authorities, including the National Commission for Women and Mumbai Police on April 8, alleging "sexual harassment and outraging the modesty of a woman" on the set. She also alleged that both Ramani and Bajaj misbehaved with her on the set of the show on March 7. However, they have denied the allegations.
