Koena Mitra, an Indian actor and model, started her career in Bollywood in the year 2002. Before that, Koena was already pursuing a career in modeling and had done a few ad films. Mitra is a major in psychology and is trained in western dance forms, basketball, swimming and tennis. Koena Mitra, after having a good background in modeling, entered Bollywood and starred in a few good films.

Koena was next seen in the film Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena. She went on to further great commercial movies like Apna Sapna Money Money. Koena Mitra has also been a part of other popular movies like Dhool, Insan, Heyy Babyy, Aggar, Anamika, Ayan, Asal, Dark Romance, Om Shanti Om and many more. Koena Mitra has also been the face of many leading magazines. Mitra, after a successful career in Bollywood, has also been a part of reality TV shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa-Season 3 and recently, Bigg Boss 13.
