Indiana Jones mixed with Guardians of the Galaxy

As the trailer starts, it looks like Rick and Morty both are on an adventure where they go to a different planet to find something. It looks like they are trying to give a nod to Indiana Jones or the Guardians of the Galaxy with the temple. The temple has traps and statues which remind viewers of the two. They walk into the temple with special suits, which do not allow them to be harmed.

Morty climbing the mountain:

In this scene, we can see Morty climbing a mountain with difficulty. At the same time, we can see Rick flying on a hoverchair eating fast food. This scene is a nod to Star Trek 5: The Final Frontier. It shows Kirk climbing the rock wall and without technology while Spock is using hover boots to talk to Kirk. Rick is also making fun of Morty the same way Spock asks why he needs to go through it.

Game of Thrones:

In this scene, we hear Rick saying “and that’s the end of Morty gets a dragon experiment.” After this, Morty’s sister Summer asks Rick whether or not he will slay the dragon. To which Rick replies “First off I always slay it, Queen, secondly yes.” This is where Rick refers to the mother of dragon’s queen Daenerys Targaryen. This is the second time they have referred to GoT.

Lab coat

Rick says '"lab coat" referring to Doctor Strange. After this, his lab coat files off his body and saves him from danger. This is just like the cloak of levitation from the Doctor Strange movies, where the coat saves Dr. Strange’s life.
