Anupam Kher sports serious look in his first poster from Tiger Nageswara Rao

Ravi Teja starrer Tiger Nageswara Rao will be making its theatrical debut on October 20. The film also stars Anupam Kher in a significant role as IB Officer Raghavendra Rajput. His character poster was unveiled by the makers of the film on Monday. It features him in a stern avatar.

Anupam Kher to portray an IB officer in Tiger Nageswara Rao 

Anupam took to his Instagram handle on Monday and shared his character poster from Tiger Nageswara Rao. It features the actor in an 80s-style checkered coat and brown pants with a serious exzpression on his face. Anupam also wore a pair of spectacles and sported a mustache in the image. 

In the caption, he wrote, “ANNOUNCEMENT: Delighted to share the first look of my character #RaghavendraRajput from my upcoming five language film #TigerNageswaraRao!!! Jai Ho!”

What is Tiger Nageswara Rao about?

The teaser of Tiger Nageswara Rao will be released by the makers on August 17. Ravi Teja will play the titular role of Tiger, the infamous thief from Andhra Pradesh's Stuartpuram. The film is written and directed by Vamsee. It is being produced under the banner of Abhishek Agarwal Arts. The female lead roles in the film are played by Gayatri Bhardwaj and Nupur Sanon. 

The supporting cast of Tiger Nageswara Rao features Renu Desai and Jisshu Sengupta. The film will compete with Anil Ravipudi's high-octane actioner Bhagavanth Kesari at the box office. 

On the additional work front, Anupam Kher will be seen in Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency. He is also currently working on films like Vijay 69 and Metro In Dino. The latter  boasts an ensemble cast of Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi and Neena Gupta.
