After Alia Bhatt Talks About Raha's Future Brother, Ranbir Kapoor Hints At Having A Second Baby

Alia Bhatt recently appeared on a podcast and talked about having a second baby with her husband Ranbir Kapoor . She revealed that her daughter's name Raha has been chosen keeping in mind her future baby brother. Now, Ranbir has reiterated Alia's stance on expanding the family as he hinted at a second baby for the couple.

In an interview with Mashable India, Ranbir, who is busy with the shooting of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War, answered the most googled questions about him. One of the questions was if he would get a new tattoo soon. He answered, "None yet, hopefully soon. The 8th or something, I don’t know, maybe my children’s names, I don’t know."

In one of Ranbir's earlier photos, fans could see Raha's name inked on his shoulder. However, it's not certain if that is a real one or not. Nonetheless, it seems Ranbir and Alia seem in sync with the idea of expanding their family and the former's reiteration of his wife's stance is proof of it.

What did Alia say about having a second baby with Ranbir?  

Alia and Ranbir married in April 2022 and welcomed their daughter Raha in November of the same year. The couple is spotted wearing Raha's initials on their clothing, especially Ranbir. Appearing on Jay Shetty's podcast, Alia recently hinted at having a second baby with her husband.

The Gangubai Kathiawadi star revealed that they also have a name ready if they have another baby and it turns out to be a boy. “This was when Ranbir and I both, like eager parents, were asking on our family group to give both boys and girls names so we’re prepared, so we can zero down on like a girl name and a boy name. So, there were multiple boy names and multiple girl names and, um, we really liked one boy name," she shared.

Alia added, "We said, ‘Okay, this a lovely boy name.’ I’m not going to reveal that now. We said okay, this name is lovely, now any more girl? My mother-in-law, Ranbir’s mom, suggested, ‘What about Raha? It’ll go very well with the boy name as well if you ever have a boy. If you have a boy and a girl, it’ll be a really good combination.’ Then she suggested a girl and girl combination as well. But Ranbir and I instantly loved Raha. So we had two names, boy and girl, ready."
