In an inspiring event, a video that surfaced recently showcased the Animal actor, Manjot Singh, saving an 18-year-old girl from attempting suicide by jumping off a building. Singh himself shared the video and penned a long note on his Instagram.

Manjot Singh’s heroic act of saving a girl

Manjot gained recognition for his role as one of Ranbir Kapoor's cousins in Animal. Before entering the world of cinema, Singh was a fourth-year BTech student at Sharda University in Greater Noida, where the incident took place during his college days. The 2019 video captures the moment when Singh intervened to save the girl's life.

While sharing the video, Manjot wrote on his Instagram, “this happened in 2019 a girl was committing SUICIDE and by the grace of god i was able to save her i was in right place at the right time. When Manjot addressed his heroic incident

In an old interview, Singh recounted the incident and revealed that the girl threatened to jump if approached. Taking a cautious approach, he initiated a conversation, inquiring about any troubles she might be facing. Despite his efforts, the girl jumped as he moved closer.

Following this life-saving act, Manjot Singh received recognition from Delhi's Sikh community, who pledged to cover his coaching fees for the civil services examination.

The movie explores the tumultuous father-son relationship, exploring themes of bloodshed and vengeance.
