Animal hit the big screens on December 1. The Ranbir Kapoor starrer scripted history at the box office by becoming the fastest film to mint ₹500 crore in India. Amid the massive commercial success, one particular scene from the film has caught the attention of eagle-eyed fans.

Fans draw similarities between Animal and Bobby Deol's film Ashiq

In the climax of Animal, Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol can be seen engaging in a vicious fight. The scene was included in the trailer as well where the actors wrestled with each other while covered in blood. Eagle-eyed fans noticed the similarity between the scene with Bobby Deol’s old film Aashiq

A video that was first posted on Reddit has surfaced and features a scene from Bobby Deol's 2001 film Aashiq, which also stars Karisma Kapoor. Netizens immediately made comparisons between the image and a scene in Animal where Bobby and Ranbir Kapoor fight in shirtless on a runway. In the Aashiq scene, Bobby is shown wearing blue jeans and a white shirt, while Rahul Dev is shirtless and covered in blood. The caption, which adds a lighthearted touch, implies, "I think I downloaded the wrong Animal movie."
