Anup Jalota Asks Salman Khan To Apologise To Bishnoi Community Over Blackbuck Case
Anup Jalota has spoken about the ongoing feud between Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi and urged the Bollywood star to apologise to the community.
Salman Khan has been under the scanner since he received a death threat from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi related to the alleged blackbuck poaching incident during the filming of his hit film Hum Saath Saath Hain. Now, veteran singer Anup Jalota has spoken about the ongoing feud between Khan and Bishnoi and urged the actor to apologise to the community. His comments have come after Khan's close friend Baba Siddiquie's murder.
Anup Jalota requests Salman Khan to apologise to the Bishnoi community
In an interview with ABP News, Anup Jalota said it is not the time to get into who was killed and the focus should be on solving the conflict. "I just want to say that it is not the time to get into who killed and who didn’t.... One should realise that Salman’s close friend Baba Siddique was allegedly killed because of the same. Now, the focus should be on solving the conflict," he said.
He further urged Salman Khan to go to the temple and apologise to ensure his, his family and close friends' safety. "I am sure they will accept his apology. Salman should go and then lead a safe life... It is not the time to complicate the matter. Whether he killed or not, Salman should apologise. No one will get anything by getting stuck into the feud,” Jalota added.
What do we know about Salman Khan's blackbuck case?
The alleged blackbuck poaching incident happened in 1998 while filming for his film in Rajasthan . In 2018, Bishnoi had threatened to kill the actor during a court appearance in Jodhpur. He was the main accused in the case and was convicted in 2018. Since then Khan has received multiple death threats, leading to a recent firing outside Khan's Galaxy house in Mumbai.
