Bollywood Nostalgia: Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein, Gangs Of Wasseypur To Re-Release - Details

The parade of the re-release of cult classics has just got another iconic add-ons. Anurag Kashyap’s epic crime drama Gangs of Wasseypur, which originally received many positive reviews, is set to get a re-release after a decade.

The two-part film stars Manoj Bajpayee, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Jaideep Ahlawat, Huma Qureshi, Richa Chadha, Piyush Mishra, Vineet Kumar Singh, Zeishan Quadri, and Pankaj Tripathi in main roles. On the other hand, the 2001 romantic film Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein, starring Dia Mirza and R. Madhavan, will also return to theatres on the same day as Gangs of Wasseypur.

Gangs of Wasseypur to re-release - know details

Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur - Part 1 and Gangs of Wasseypur - Part 2 were originally released twelve years ago and will return to cinemas for a week from August 30 to September 5 at Miraj Cinemas. Tickets are priced at just Rs 149. However, It remains uncertain if other theatre chains will also screen the films.

Anurag Kashyap announced the re-release on his official Instagram account. He posted a poster with caption, "In three days the Gang will be back again .. GOW back in cinemas." Fans expressed their excitement in the comments, with one calling it "the greatest Hindi movie ever" and another stating, "Box office will be on fire." GV Prakash, who composed the films' background score, referred to it as "the baap of gangster flicks." Many others quoted popular dialogues from the films like "Chabi kidhar hai," "Hazrat Hazrat Hazrat," and "Sabka badla lega." Additionally, Pooja Entertainment shared some good news for Maddy fans.

Dia Mirza, Saif Ali Khan and R Madhavan's film Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein is also set to re-release in theatres on August 30. With fans excited about revisiting popular Hindi films, RHTDM will once again be on the big screen. Pooja Entertainment, the production company made an official announcement of the re-release on it’s Instagram handle.

Pooja Entertainment shared a video reel on Instagram, showcasing younger versions of Dia, Madhavan, and Saif Ali Khan from the movie.
