Chhaava Box Office Collection: The Vicky Kaushal starrer hit the big screens on February 14 and has been running houseful theatres ever since. The movie has rapidly risen up the charts and has secured a place in the top spots in Bollywood's highest grossers. Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava revolves around the story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji, and his courage in defending his faith and country. The movie has amassed a total of ₹584.58 crore in India in the six-week theatrical run.
Chhaava became the highest Bollywood opener of the year by minting ₹31 crore on day 1. The historical drama maintained steady momentum at the box office and raked in ₹85.5 crore on the opening weekend, as per Sacnilk. Week 1: ₹ 219.25 Cr
Week 2: ₹ 180.25 Cr
Week 3: ₹ 84.05 Cr

The film is now in the sixth week of its theatrical run. It began the week on a positive note by raking in ₹ 2.1 Cr on Friday (March 21), followed by ₹ 3.65 Cr on Saturday, ₹ 4.65 Cr on Sunday and ₹ 1.33 Cr on Monday, as per early estimates provided by Sacnilk.
Chhaava has become the third highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. The highest grosser is Atlee's directorial Jawan (₹640.25 cr) and this is followed by Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 (₹597.77 cr). The Vicky Kaushal starrer has trumped the likes of Animal (₹553.87 cr), Pathaan (₹543.09 cr) and Gadar 2 (₹525.7 cr).
The box office milestone of Chhaava amid the decision that the film will be screened in the Parliament on March 27. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and all union ministers will be in attendance at the screening.
