In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Chunky Panday addressed the rumours surrounding his daughter's dating life. He said which loosely translated to, "This is bound to happen. They say na you live by the soul you die by the soul." He further mentioned that in the glamour industry, these things often happen and there is certain collateral damage that one cannot prevent. Chunky Panday also revealed that he only has one condition for his daughter's boyfriend and that is he should be better than him.

The Housefull actor was also asked about who he thinks Ananya looks good with on screen or even in real life. Responding to the question, he said, "I think right from Tiger Shroff starting off, even with Kartik Aaryan in Pati Patni Aur Woh. They were superb so she has always complemented the heroes and it's been a great journey for her."
