Dharmendra Appeared In Kriti Sanon-Shahid Kapoor's Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Ujha Jiya Before His Death

Bollywood’s ‘He-Man’ Dharmendra has died at the age of 89. Actors and the film fraternity gathered to pay their final respects. His last rites took place at the Pawan Hans crematorium, attended only by close family members.

The veteran star had been admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital earlier this month. This marks the end of an era for Bollywood as the actor has given many hits over the past many decades.

Dharmendra will appear on screen for the last time on December 25 in Ikkis, alongside Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda, marking his posthumous film.

Dharmendra was last seen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, which was released on the big screen on February 9, 2024. He played Jai Singh Agnihotri, the grandfather of the lead character Aryan, portrayed by Shahid Kapoor.

He also shared the screen with Dimple Kapadia in the film. Interestingly, the makers credited him as Dharmendra Singh Deol for the first time in his 64-year career. The movie also stars Kriti Sanon in the lead.

The veteran actor was set to return to the big screen with Ikkis later this year, but he passed away before the release. Earlier today, just hours before his demise, the makers revealed his first look from the film, which includes a powerful monologue by the legendary actor.
