Holi Box Office Collection: The festival colours have finally got with some positive returns for Bollywood at the ticketing counter. A relief from average March, the holiday saw a big boost in business in the collection of Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava, which is in its fifth week of release as well as for The Diplomat, which released today.
The Vicky Kaushal starrer has been shattering box office records ever since its release on February 14. A month later also the movie maintains a decent pace at the box office. On Holi, which was the fifth Friday for the movie, it raked in ₹ 7.25 Cr as per Sacnilk.
The film has amassed a total of ₹ 546.75 Cr at the domestic box office. It is gradually moving to surpass the collections of Pathaan, Jawaan, Animal and Baahubali to become the top Hindi grosser of all time.
The John Abraham starrer hit the big screen on March 14, coinciding with Holi. Directed by Soojit Sircar, the movie is based on a real-life incident. The film has raked in ₹ 4.00 Cr on day 1 at the box office.

The movie is expected to record a substantial growth at the box office on the coming weekend.
