Ibrahim Ali Khan made his acting debut alongside Khushi Kapoor in Nadaaniyan. Son of veteran actors Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, who has been receiving backlash from netizens for his performance in the movie has seemingly landed himself in a hot water. A Pakistani movie critic, Tamur Iqbal, took to his social media handle to share that the debutant allegedly reacted to his review. He shared a screengrab of the chat that shows the actor lashing out at him for his harsh criticism and calling Iqbal "ugly".
Taking to his Instagram handle, Tamur Iqbal shared a screenshot of his chat with the actor. He had posted his review on Story and tagged the actor. Reacting to the same, Ibrahim allegedly penned a long message threatening him to make him "uglier" tha he is. "Tamur almost like Taimoor… you got my brother’s name. Guess what you don’t got? His face. You ugly piece of trash. Since you can’t keep your words to yourself, don’t bother, they’re irrelevant just like you. Ugly goddamn piece of shit I feel bad for you and your family – and if I see you on the streets one day, I’ll make sure I leave you uglier than you are – you walking piece of scum," the message in the screengrab read.
On reading his message, Tamur dropped a rather calm reply admitting that his 'nose job' criticism was in bad state. "Hahahahaha see that’s my man. This is the guy I want to see in the movie. Not that fake cornetto mushy cringy human. But hey yes that nose job comment was in bad taste. Rest I totally own up. Massive fan of your dad, don’t let him down," he wrote.
He further claimed to be blocked by Ibrahim Ali Khan's Instagram profile.
To note, we couldn't independently verify the screengrab. Also, we couldn't find Tamur's review on his social media handle.
Netizens have taken over Reddit sharing their views on the alleged spat between Ibrahima and Tamur Iqbal. A user wrote, "Oh this is going to blow up very hard!! Iggy ki team ki holi ki chutti paani main gai chapaak." Another wrote, "This is going to be all over the place now, lol. his pr team needs to do overtime now to clean this mess." The third user wrote, "Consequences of living in a bubble." "We're gonna see news of his ig getting hacked in a hot minute," a user wrote.
Helmed by Shauna Gautam, the movie also stars Mahima Chaudhry, Dia Mirza, Suniel Shetty, and Jugal Hansraj in pivotal roles. It tells the story of a privileged South Delhi schoolgirl who gets a boyfriend-for-hire to get back at her family and classmates. The film is currently streaming on Netflix.
