Kangana Ranaut has recently ventured into politics. The actress has won the recent Lok Sabha 2024 elections from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh to assume the role of Member of Parliament for the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP). While the Queen actress assumes her new role, she has seemingly not forgotten about her personal obligations. Her recent gesture for her cousin brother is now doing rounds on social media.
Kangana Ranaut gifts Chandigarh home to cousin brother
On June 17, Kangana Ranaut took to her Instagram account to re-share stories of her family members expressing gratitude for her family members. The actress gifted her Chandigarh home to her brother Varun Ranaut who recently got married. Expressing his gratitude, Varun wrote, “Thank you Didi @kanganaranaut…Chandigarh is home now.”
Kangana, too shared a post of the gesture and shared, “Gurunanak Dev ji said whatever little we have we must share, he said we always feel we don't have enough yet we must share and I feel there is no bigger joy than that…thank you for always sharing everything of yours with me as well (smiling, folded hands and bouquet emojis).” Varun’s wife Anjali Ranaut, who is the sister-in-law of the Emergency actress, also shared photos from the housewarming ceremony and wrote, “Entering our new home with the blessings of Ganpati ji. This lovely home is blessing and love from a sister to brother. All thanks to one and only, kind, humble and brave soul, @kanganaranaut. Special thanks to @rangoli_r_chandel who lead our way, who did all work and our saviour. May God bless us all with unity understanding and love.”

In an interview with ANI, Kangana said, "I cannot leave the industry right now as many of my films are pending." On the work front, Kangana will be seen in Emergency next, which she is also directing. She is also reuniting with R Madhavan for a yet-untitled film. She had also announced a film titled Sita: the Incarnation, which has received no update since its announcement in 2021.
