Kareena Kapoor-Saif Ali Khan Sign 'India's Biggest Film', Is It Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit?

Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial Spirit is one of the most anticipated films. With Prabhas in the lead role, the movie has already raised audience anticipation ever since its announcement and will reportedly go on floors in 2025. While the movie is still in development, new reports suggest that Bollywood's power couple Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan would be roped in for the Prabhas starrer. This comes days after it was reported that Jab We Met has signed the 'biggest film of her career' which would also go on floors in 2025. While there is no official announcement yet, speculations are rife of the couple being roped in for Spirit.

Kareena Kapoor-Saif Ali Khan roped in for Prabhas starrer Spirit

Since Spirit is still in pre-production several reports regarding the cast of the film have been circulating online. As per the latest report by Gulte, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is in talks with Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan to play a pivotal role in the film. An insider in the know suggests that the actors will be playing a couple on screen too.

The sources have also reported that Kareena and Saif will feature in an antagonist role in the Telugu film. This comes after Saif Ali Khan is gearing up to make his Telugu debut with the film Devara. He has already collaborated with Prabhas in the Om Raut directorial Adipurush.

Is Kareena Kapoor's career biggest film Spirit? 

The report of the real-life couple being a part of Spirit comes days after Pinkvilla reported that Kareena Kapoor has signed 'India's biggest film' as she completes 25 years in the industry. The publication shared that the actress has signed a 'Pan-Indian' film on which she will be working for 2 years. The source shared, "It’s a role that she has not done to date and the director in question is among the most celebrated and bankable of Indian Cinema at this point in time. Kareena has allotted bulk dates for the film, and has blocked 2025 for the shoot."

Sources close to development shared that the makers intend to shoot extensively in India and abroad. While the reports do not mention Spirit or Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the details of the films match giving rise to speculations. Vanga most recently collaborated with Kareena Kapoor's cousin Ranbir Kapoor for one of the highest-grossing Bollywood movies ever - Animal. Rumour mills have been sharing several details about his next Spirit, but official confirmations on the same are awaited.
