Karwachauth: Anil Kapoor wishes wife Sunita with a 'fitness' video

"I met her on the telephone, and fell in love with her voice. I feel shy and awkward when I speak about her, but I love speaking about her. She is wonderful she is beautiful; she is the best thing that has happened to me," said Anil Kapoor in one of the interviews a few years back. On a festive occassion of Karwachauth, Anil Kapoor gave a fun and 'healthy' twist and wished his wife a Happy Karwachauth.

Anil shared a video on his Instagram handle which sees him running in full power. Captioning it, he thanked his wife for always keeping him fit, healthy and making him run faster. He said that her love and prayers work for him everyday. Sunita Kapoor replied with kissing emojis. Anil's son-in-law Anand Ahuja commented on the video saying, "Wow". Farhan Akhtar too called it awesome. Farah Khan dropped a hilarious comment and wrote: "Ur fast is faster than sunita s fast also", while Shilpa Shetty wrote that he is 'amaze'. Casting director Shanoo Sharma wrote that Anil's post was the most romantic ever.

Anil and Sunita got married on May 19, 1984, after fighting all the odds. In one of the interviews, Anil said: "In those days the industry believed that the audience liked an actor only until he was unmarried. My well-wishers thus advised me not to get married else my career would be ruined. But then I asked myself, what is more important to me, my relationship with my girlfriend whom I know for years or my career? I was puzzled. But then it struck me that I am in a love with such a beautiful girl and we have been together since 5 years and sticked together through thick and thin, and so marriage was paramount for me that time.”

What's next for Anil Kapoor

Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor, who has completed more than four decades in the Indian film industry, has a number of films in the pipeline for release. The actor recently wrapped up shooting for Malang which is set to hit theatres on February 14, 2020. The film is helmed by Aashiqui 2 director Mohit Suri and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Luv Ranjan, Ankur Garg, and Jay Shewakramani. This film marks the reunion of Mohit, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Bhushan after the success of Aashiqui 2 in 2013. Besides Anil Kapoor, Malang also stars Disha Patani and Kunal Kemmu, in the lead. This is the first time the four stars will be seen sharing screen space. Anil Kapoor will also be starring in Pagalpanti, Saade Saati, Takht and more.
