What Kesari 2 is about?

In Kesari Chapter 2, Akshay Kumar plays Sir C Sankaran Nair, a fearless lawyer who challenged the British Empire following a devastating national tragedy. A powerful voiceover in the teaser emphasises, "Don’t forget that you’re still a slave to the British Empire."

The film is inspired by the book The Case That Shook The Empire by Pushpa Palat and Raghu Palat. With its bold narrative, Kesari Chapter 2 raises the bar for Indian cinema. Produced by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films, and Leo Media Collective, the movie also features R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday. It is set to release in cinemas on April 18, 2025.
