Kiara Advani has been basking in the success of her film Satya Prem Ki Katha. The actress, who had two hit films -- Bhool Bhulaiyaa and JugJugg Jeeyo, last year as well was recently honoured as the IAA (International Advertising Association) Brand Endorser of the Year in the female category. At the event, the actress commented on pay parity in the Hindi film industry and also the importance of valuing oneself.

'It's important to not be deluded,' says Kiara Advani
Speaking at the event, Kiara Advani said it is a very large debate and added it's important to value oneself. Speaking about the "ad world" then, according to her "it's changing". The actress added, "It's important to not be deluded, to know where you stand and what you bring to the table." She continued that she would not want to compare herself to what her male or female counterpart is receiving.

'I'm growing and I'm happy,' says Kiara Advani
The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actress added that she is happy with the way she is valued. For her, it's important how one grows owing to from where they come. "If I feel this is my worth, then I would like to associate myself with people who see the same", she concluded.

Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Zeenat Aman and Deepika Padukone, among others have spoken on pay parity. Zeenat, in a lengthy Instagram post, shared that she was dissapointed. She said that even today, women in the film industry don't have wage parity.
