Kill Box Office Collection Day 2: Lakshya, Raghav Juyal Starrer Witnesses Growth, Mints ₹2.20 Crore

Lakshya and Raghav Juyal starrer Kill had an overall 19.92% Hindi Occupancy on Saturday with the maximum reported in Chennai (73.67 per cent).

Kill, starring Lakshya and Raghav Juyal, had a lukewarm start at the domestic box office on July 5. On the first day, the movie managed to mint ₹1.25 crore. Now, on the second day, the movie witnessed a 62.96 per cent growth in the daily collection, possibly due to positive word-of-mouth.

Helmed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, the movie earned ₹2.20 crore in India, as per trade analyst Taran Adarsh. Adding the second-day count, the total now stands at ₹3.55 crore. Kill had an overall 19.92% Hindi Occupancy on Saturday with the maximum reported in Chennai (73.67 per cent).

What do we know about Kill?

The extremely violent movie follows the story of army commando Amrit (Lakshya) who finds his love in Tulika (Tanya Maniktala). However, things change when both find themselves trapped in the train taken over by Fani (Raghav Juyal) and his gang, who begin to mercilessly kill the passengers. The action thriller also stars Ashish Vidyarthi and Harsh Chhaya.

Before the release of the movie, filmmaker Chad Stahelski, best known for directing the Hollywood blockbuster franchise John Wick, starring Keanu Reeves, announced that he would be producing the English-language remake of Kill. The movie also received rave reviews following its world premiere at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival. It was billed as "the most violent film made out of India".
