Kill Box Office Collection Day 3: Kalki 2898 AD Affects Biz Of Lakshya Starrer In Opening Weekend
Lakshya and Raghav Juyal starrer Kill will be remade in English language by John Wick's producer Chad Stahelski.
Lakshya's Bollywood debut movie Kill is receiving positive reviews from critics and audiences. However, despite the positive word-of-mouth, the movie bore the brunt of releasing just a week after Kalki 2898 AD. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the action-thriller could have earned better if it had been released on a different date. For the unversed, Kalki 2898 AD released on June 27 and managed to maintain its daily collection in the second weekend.

Helmed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, the movie also stars Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala in the lead roles. On Sunday, the movie saw a slight upward trend and minted ₹2.70 crore at the domestic box office. The movie opened at ₹1.35 crore and witnessed a growth on Saturday - ₹2.20 crore. Adding the three-day collection, the movie in total minted ₹6.25 crore in the opening weekend. Now, all the eyes are on the make-or-break Monday as it decides the future of the movie.

What is the movie all about?
The extremely violent movie follows the story of army commando Amrit (Lakshya) who finds his love in Tulika (Tanya Maniktala). However, things change when both find themselves trapped in the train taken over by Fani (Raghav Juyal) and his gang, who begin to mercilessly kill the passengers. On July 1, three days prior to Kill's North American theatrical release, Lionsgate and 87Eleven Entertainment, which have previously collaborated on the John Wick franchise, announced an English-language remake of the film.
