Soon-to-be-married couple Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha kickstarted their wedding festivities yesterday as they partook in the traditional ardas paath ritual. The celebrity couple visited a Gurudwara in New Delhi for the rituals. Now, an unseen photo of the couple from the time has surfaced on the internet.

While in one of these photos, both Parineeti and Raghav could be seen deeply engrossed in the religious ritual, another photo had the couple warmly posing with two of their family members.

The actress-politician couple has been increasingly at the center of attention as their wedding date inches close. They are set to tie the knot on September 24 in Udaipur, Rajasthan where they are holding a 2-day grand ceremony on September 23 and 24. Reportedly, day 1of their wedding ceremony will begin with Parineeti’s choora ceremony, followed by the haldi and mehendi rituals. There is also a 90s themed Bollywood sangeet night planned to cap the Saturday evening.

The couple got engaged on May 13

Earlier on May 13, on the day of their engagement, Parineeti Chopra took to her social media and posted a loving note for Raghav Chadha. She wrote, “When you know, you know. One breakfast together and I knew - I had met the one. The most wonderful man whose quiet strength would be calming, peaceful and inspiring. His support, humour, wit and friendship are pure joy. He is my home. Our engagement party was like living a dream - a dream unfurling beautifully amidst love, laughter, emotion and loads of dancing! As we hugged those we loved dearest and celebrated with them, emotions overflowed. As a little girl in awe of princess stories, I had imagined how my fairytale would begin. Now that it has, it is even better than I had imagined.”
