Reddit Gossip Or Grey Divorce? Sunita-Govinda Leave Fans Puzzled With Split Rumours After 37 Years

Govinda-Sunita Divorce: The veteran 1990s actor is rumoured to be on the brink of separation. The couple tied the knot in 1987 and are parents to two children. While multiple reports suggest that the couple has decided to go their separate ways, the actor's secretary has denied all such reports.  

Trouble in paradise for Govinda and Sunita?

Rumours about turbulence between Govinda and Sunita have risen time and again over the past many years. However, the couple has repeatedly brushed off such rumours by making public statements and media appearances together. Reports of their marital woes resurfaced after reports claimed that the couple is on the brink of filing for divorce.

A national daily reported that a 30-year-old Marathi actress is the reason behind the separation of Govinda and Sunita. No one has been named in the reports but sources in the know believe that the actor's closeness to the actress might be the reason for his split. Neither Govinda nor his wife has said anything in the matter yet.  

Govinda's secretary rubbishes divorce rumours

Govinda's secretary denied all reports regarding his divorce. Speaking to ABP news Shashi Sinha categorically denied there being any truth in the divorce rumours. He stressed that comments made by Sunita were taken out of context which led to the speculations.

He said, “There is no truth to these reports. I always stay with Govinda Ji, and there is nothing like this. Sunita must have given some interviews, and someone must have exaggerated her words, which is why such news is spreading.” Though they had their ups and downs, Govinda and Sunita have one of the most enduring relationships in the industry.
