On October 28, Twitter showed two India trends on No. 3 and 4 respectively saying 'Paid Negativity on HF4' and 'Fake Housefull4 Figures'. Popular franchise directed by Farhad Samji starring Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Kharbanda, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hedge was released on October 25 and unfortunately received mixed reviews from fans and critics.
On October 29, founder of RSVP Films, Ronnie Screwvala, who has produced films like URI: The Surgical Strike, The Sky is Pink, Lust Stories and many more hits, took to his Twitter handle to appeal trade analyst Taran Adarsh and Komal Nahta for reporting the correct box-office figures. He wrote that it was time that accurate information was provided in order to build the credibility that the 'movie industry needs so badly'. Minutes later, film exhibitor Akshaye Rathi, film trade analyst Sumit Kadel, Raj Bansal joined in the debate and dropped comments on Screwvala's post. Take a look -

IMHO sir, collections don’t even need to be in the public domain. Only the stakeholders (the studios, talent, producers, distributors, exhibitors & tax collecting authorities / govt) need to know them. Putting them out does more harm than good to the sector.
