Mukesh Chhabra shares unseen photo of SSR

Mukesh Chhabra took to his Instagram handle to share an unseen picture of late Sushant Singh Rajput. The late actor could be seen beaming in the photo as he feasted on aloo paranthas and sabzi. The picture holds special significance for Chhabra as it also featured his mother Kamla Chhabra. The two could be seen enjoying their food from the same plate. Mukesh's caption expressed his wishful thinking about the two of them feasting on aloo paranthas together in heaven.

Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti comment on the photo read, “Such a beautiful picture, that is for sharing" Chhabra lost his mother, Kamla, earlier this year in April. Several celebrities including Nupur Sanon and Sunil Grover, Farah Khan Kunder, Jasbir Jassi and Aparshakti Khurana arrived to pay their respects.

Mukesh Chhabra reveals why Sushant Singh Rajput rejected film offers

In a conversation at the Art of Acting conversation tour in the US, Mukesh Chhabra shared a candid reflection on his late friend. Rajput was set to star in Mr India director Shekhar Kapur's Paani, in lieu of which he ended up rejecting several opportunities that came his way as he wanted that one project to have his full focus.

Chhabra revealed how Rajput's approach was misunderstood to be his "arrogance". Chhabra said, "He said no to so many films just because of Paani. People assumed that his newfound stardom had caused him to develop an attitude of arrogance...I was there when he was confirmed for the film. He was happy like a child after the news..." The film was eventually shelved.
