Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni will turn a year older on July 7. To commemorate the special occasion, special screening of his biopic, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story will release in select cinema halls, according to reports. The movie stars Sushant Singh Rajput in the title role, alongside Anupam Kher, Kiara Advani and Disha Patani.

On MSD's birthday, it is being reported that his biopic MS Dhoni: The Untold Story will release in selected cinema halls. The movie, which was a box office hit and is considered a realistic account of the cricketer's journey, will look to attract fans to cinema halls.

According to a report in 123 Telugu, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story will have special shows across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Bangalore and fans will look to make the memorable for their favourite cricket star.

Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the sports drama became one of the biggest hits of 2016. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Kiara Advani, Disha Patani and Anupam Kher. The flick chronicles the life of Dhoni from a young age through a series of life events. Its shown how from being a goalkeeper in his school's football team, Dhoni was reeled into cricket by his coach, played by Rajesh Sharma.
