Swastika Mukherjee gives befitting reply to troll questioning her over her green lipstick

Actor Swastika Mukherjee took her fans by surprise yet again on Wednesday. The Qala actor posted a series of pictures where she can be seen sporting an interesting shade of green lipstick, that goes perfectly in sync with her Parakeet green attire. These pictures evoked interesting responses from her fans and followers.

Swastika slyly flaunts her love for varying colours, repeating outfits

In her post, Mukherjee flaunted about the limitless shades of lipsticks she owns, with the line “I have all the colors of the world when it comes to lipsticks and here I start wearing them in my daily life.” At the same time, Mukherjee had no qualms in sharing that unlike most film celebrities, she has no qualms in repeating her outfits in public appearance until they tear. Mukherjee also mentioned how she is "loving the grays," referring to her grey hair.

This post by Mukherjee took aback her fans, which include many celebrities as well. Actresses Lisa Ray and Tripti Dimri couldn’t resist showering praises on the actor’s new look. While Lisa Ray commented “You Shona!” (You Sweety), her Qala co-star Tripti Dimri was literally all hearts in her emoji response under Mukherjee’s post.

Swastika Mukherjee’s post received as much love from many of her fans too. One of the Instagram users enquired where Mukherjee got her lipstick from. Another internet user ‘roy2_suvodip4’ expressed his desire to buy an auto rickshaw just so that he could give a ride to Swastika Mukherjee.

Not all of Swastika Mukherjee’s fans were as enthused in their reactions to Mukherjee’s pictures, however. One of the instagram users asked, “Why this color of lipstick?” Mukherjee gave a befitting reply to the user, saying "My face, my lipstick." 

These days, Swastika Mukherjee is also busy promoting her upcoming Bengali web-series Nikhoj where she co-stars with Tota Roy Chowdhury. Tota Roy Chowdhury was recently seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky aur Rani kii Prem Kahaani, and received a lot of acclaim for his role where he played Alia Bhatt’s father. Nikhoj will be streaming online on Hoichoi from August 11 onwards.
