Directed by Shoojit Sircar, the movie is based on a real-life incident narrating the ordeal of an Indian girl who fell in love with a Pakistani in Malaysia. There is an attempt to take her to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to sell her off to jihadis in Pakistan . How the Indian government brings her back home, makes the rest of the plot. The film has received a decent opening at the box office.
