Uljah director Sudhanshu Saria to showcase his film TAPS at Vancouver Queer Film Festival
Janhvi Kapoor starrer Uljah's director Sudhanshu Saria will be attending the Vancouver Queer Film Festival in lieu of his film TAPS, selected for a screening.

Sudhanshu Saria has been enjoying a rather successful 2023. The director recently announced his film Uljah, starring Janhvi Kapoor, which is currently in the thick of shooting. Saria will now be gearing up to attend the Vancouver Queer Film Festival this year. The purpose of his visit will be the international premiere of film TAPS, on which Saria served as a producer.

Sudhanshu Saria all set to take TAPS to the Vancouver Queer Film Festival
Sudhanshu Saria's film TAPS will have its international premiere at the Vancouver Queer Film Festival. This year, the film festival will be hosting its 35th edition. TAPS, a short film, will be featured under the 'It's Complicated' section along side other similarly-themed shorts.
Four Lines, Saria's production company, took to their Instagram handle to share the news with all concerned. Along side a still from the short film, part of the caption read, "Stoked to announce that Taps will have its International Premiere at the 35th edition of the prestigious Vancouver Queer Film Festival @queerfilmfest !! Can't wait to meet our audience on the other side of the world. The film screens with other cool shorts in the "It's Complicated" section..."

This is not TAPS' first film festival selection
TAPS has previously been screened at the Kashish Mumbai International Queer Film Festival. The film had received a positive response at the festival. The screening had notably been attended by Pulkit Samrat who was there to support his brother Ullas Samrat who stars in the film. The film also premiered at the Bengaluru International Short Film Festival. Written and directed by Arvind Caulagi, TAPS also stars Rohit Mehra.
