However, over the years the duo has been through several ups and downs in life, including separation rumours. Recently, as divorce rumours about their son, Abhishek Bachchan with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan began circulating, fans have begun to revisit and share throwback clips of Amitabh and Jaya.

Jaya Bachchan says husband Amitabh Bachchan is not a romantic with her

Clips of the couple talking about their first meeting, courtship period to finally marriage are now doing rounds online.  When Simi asked Jaya if the Piku star was romantic in person. Jaya immediately replied saying that he wasn't particularly romantic in their personal life. Jaya laughed and added, "Not with me!" Amitabh, puzzled about what he should do romantically, received Jaya’s suggestion of “flowers and wine.”

Jaya quipped by saying that Amitabh might have been more romantic if he had a girlfriend. When Simi asked if Amitabh was romantic during their marriage, Jaya replied that he was not very talkative, to which Amitabh responded, “It’s a waste of time.” Now, netizens are mocking this by linking it to the recent buzz about Abhishek and Aishwarya. 

Amitabh Bachchan’s advice to the married couple

In the recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, megastar Amitabh Bachchan advised all married couples which sparked buzz online. In the show, contestant Dipali Soni shared her love story with her husband. Where she revealed that despite being an arranged marriage, they fell in love with each other soon. They have been together for 25 years and often make reels whenever they go out for vacation.

Reacting to this, Big B advised that married couples should create reels during their vacations to keep the romance alive. He quoted, “Bahut acha aapne idea dia hai pati patniyo ko. Bhaiya jitne bhi pati patni hai aap log, jaha jitne bhi hai, jaha kahi bhi ghoomne jaye, ek bana dijiyega reel (It’s a great idea for couples. Wherever you go, make a reel!),” said the Kalki 2898 AD star. This statement of his also gone viral amid his unromantic nature as mentioned earlier in the interviews by his wife.
