Zaheer Iqbal Dances To Song From Bride Sonakshi Sinha's Debut Film At Their Reception: Watch

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal hosted a lavish yet intimate reception after their wedding on June 23. The actress, who chose her mother Poonam Sinha's ivory-golden saree for the wedding ceremony, turned into a beautiful newlywed bride in a red banarasi saree. However, the red fever didn't end and the actress changed into an embellished red traditional salwar kurta. While Sonakshi's ensembles were the highlight of the bash, the four-tier cake and the cake cutting ceremony surely stole the show.

A video is going viral on the Internet that shows Sonakshi and Zaheer in front of a huge cake with a floral design. The white cake featured the initials of the newlyweds ZS. However, before starting with a cake-cutting ceremony, the newlyweds danced to Sonakshi's hit track Tere Mast Mast Do Nain from the movie Dabangg. After a few lines, the knife arrived and they were seen cutting the cake and feeding it to each other.

It seems the actress was feeling uncomfortable in her saree as she was seen in a different outfit while cutting the cake. The actress can be seen in a bright red full-length kurta featuring golden embellishments. She kept her accessories and hairstyle the same.

A paparazzo shared a video of the newlyweds enjoying their first dance together. They were seen grooving to the reprise version of Afreen Afreen sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.  For the occasion, Sonakshi wore a custom red banarasi silk brocade saree from Raw Mango's textiles archives from the late 18th century. She accessorised her look with an exquisite choker, statement jhumkas and added a gajra to her sleek bun. Not to miss, her large diamond engagement ring. The actress completed her look with red bangles, bindi and sindoor.

Zaheer, on the other hand, looked handsome in an elegant white shimmering sherwani.

The newlyweds also danced to the dhol beats with Kajol. In a video, Kajol can be seen pulling out her camera and can be seen clicking selfies and recording a video of dancing with the bride and groom.

Sonakshi and Zaheer had been in a relationship for the past seven years but kept it private and maintained a 'just friends' tag in the public's eyes.
