Peluso's talent left an indelible mark on both Broadway and the West End. Peluso's contributions extended beyond the stage. He participated in productions such as Assassins, Lestat, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Miss Saigon, Showboat, and Funny Girl

However, Peluso's journey was not without challenges. Last year, he publicly disclosed that he was stepping away from acting to seek treatment for schizoaffective disorder, a mental health condition. He is survived by his wife, Jessica Gomes, their daughter Aria Li Gomes-Peluso, and their son Caio Lian Gomes-Peluso. As the theater community mourns his passing, Peluso serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of mental health awareness and kindness toward one another.
