Music composer and singer Amaal Mallik recently revealed that he has been diagnosed with clinical depression and that his self-worth has been diminished by the actions of his dear ones. However, later on, he deleted his controversial post and announced that he cut ties with his family. Just a few days after the social media rifts, Amaal Mallik was spotted at the Mumbai airport this morning for the first time, while Armaan walked in separately.
Amaal Mallik recently shared that he has severed all ties with his brother Armaan Malik and family members in a now-deleted post. Today, both were seen at the airport walking separately. As per the videos coming in, Amaal can be seen dressed in an all-black outfit, whereas, Armaan opted for a casual teal T-shirt and denim. Both brothers arrived and walked separately to the airport which raised eyebrows. In the note he shared after the depression post he mentioned that nothing had changed between his brother and both have their peace but the video portrays contradiction.
This is their first appearance after the family rift.
In a now-deleted lengthy note, Amaal accused his parents, composer Daboo Malik and singer Jyoti Malik, of causing a rift between him and his younger brother, singer Armaan Malik. He announced that he is "stepping away from these personal ties" and will maintain only professional interactions with his family going forward.
Shortly after, Amaal removed the post and requested the media not to "harass" his family or "sensationalise and give negative headlines" to his "vulnerability." He downplayed the disagreement with his brother Armaan, stating that "nothing changes between them." Meanwhile, an old video has resurfaced, showing Armaan recalling an incident where Amaal got angry and threw a book at him in the studio during a recording session. This video sheds light on the tension that has been building between the brothers for some time.
