Comedian Samay Raina was snapped at Maharashtra Cyber Cell on Monday, March 24, to record his statement in India's Got Latent controversy. His visit has come after the authorities issued him a third summon last week asking him to appear before them on March 24 for questioning. He had skipped two summons as he was in the US for his show. According to the first summon, he was supposed to appear on February 18, but he was travelling outside India so couldn't appear. A similar happened during the second summon.

In the video going viral on the internet, Samay can be seen entering the office, seemingly with his team.

Comedian was scheduled to perform at Delhi's Talkatora stadium on March 21 and March 23. Both the shows were sold out with tickets starting from ₹1000. However, days before the show, the ticketing app notified the attendees about its cancellation. While BookMyShow has not stated the reason behind the cancelling of the show, it appears to be because of India's Got Latent row. The message from the ticketing app read, “Samay Raina Unfiltered - Talkatora Stadium Show scheduled on Sun Mar/23/2025 07:30 PM has been cancelled. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.” The message also stated that those who had booked the tickets would be getting a refund within 10 working days.
