Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and choreographer Dhanashree Verma have been officially granted divorce by the Bandra family court today, ie, on March 20. However, earlier before her divorce verdict announcement, a video of Dhanashree loosing her cool at paps outside the court has gone viral.
In the video shared on Instagram, it can been seen paps surround Dhanashree as soon as she steps out of the car outside the family court in Bandra Kurla Complex. When she tried to make her way inside the court, a woman stumbled and fell as she lost his balance due to the chaos.
This situation irked Dhanashree and schooled them saying, “Kya kar rahe ho aap? What is this behaviour? She even made sure the woman was okay before she walked away.
Rumours about Dhanashree and Yuzvendra’s divorce began after the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram which sparked widespread speculation. The former couple tied the knot in December 2020 in an intimate ceremony in Gurugram. The two connected during the covid pandemic via social mean when Chahal approached her for dance lessons.
Chahal and Dhanashree filed for divorce by mutual consent on February 5. However on February 20, the family court refused to waive the mandatory six-month cooling off period. As per the petition, the couple had lived apart since June 2022, 18 months after marriage.
In their first year of marriage, they shared many joyful moments on social media. Dhanashree frequently appeared at IPL matches, cheering for Chahal from the stands. Their collaborative dance videos and fun-loving posts made them a favourite among fans. Dhanashree Verma is a dance choreographer, YouTuber, and actress, known for her work with Shiamak Davar and for her role in the music video "Bali: Pyaar Chahiye”. While Yuzvendra plays for the India national cricket team.
