Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, a standalone sequel to Neeraj Pandey’s series Khakee: The Bihar Chapter premiered today, ie, on March 20. Despite having stellar cast, and intricate storyline, the crime-thriller has received mixed reviews from netizens.
The crime thriller has definitely grabbed everyone’s attention for its cinematography and catchy dialogues. But, despite all of this, netizens have declared this show as slow-paced with predictable plot. One user wrote, “Khakee The Bengal Chapter Review: Actors handled the routine police-gangster story This show is a combination of many interesting and routine gangster drama ideas that work like pulp fiction novels. Meaning, the audience who likes this kind of content will enjoy it…”

Khakee: The Bengal Chapter is created by Neeraj Pandey and helmed by Debatma Mandal and Tushar Kanti Ray. The crime thriller stars Jeet, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Ritwik Bhowmik, Saswata Chatterjee, Pooja Chopra, Shraddha Das, Aadil Zafar Khan, Joy Sengupta and Chitrangada Singh.
The show revolves around an officer’s death which happened in early 2000s in Bengal. IPS Arjun Maitra confronts the powerful gangsters and corrupt politicians in his mission to bring law and order. Khakee: The Bengal Chapter premiered on March 20 on streaming giant Netflix. It is the first Hindi show to stream simultaneously in Hindi and Bengali on OTT platform.
