Gal Gadot received one of Hollywood's highest honours. The Wonder Woman actress was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday. Standing by her side were her husband, Jaron Varsano, and their four daughters--Alma, 13, Maya, 8, Daniella, 3, and 13-month-old baby Ori. Gadot's Fast Five co-star Vin Diesel also joined her as she received the honour in Los Angeles. Protesters by the dozen gathered ahead of the ceremony for Gal Gadot. The actress is an outspoken supporter of the Israeli military. She has also served for two years in the Israel Defense Forces before making it big in Hollywood.

According to Variety, protesters held signs that read 'Heroes Fight Like Palestinians', 'Viva Viva Palestina' and 'No Other Land Won Oscar'. No Other Land is a film about Palestinians fighting to protect their homes from demolition by Israel’s military. It won the Oscar for Best Documentary Feature earlier this month.
