Kangana Ranaut, Anupam Kher And Other Celebs Condemn Reasi Terror Attack, Call It 'Despicable'

On Sunday evening at least 10 people were killed and 33 injured as terrorists struck a bus carrying pilgrims from Uttar Pradesh in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district. The bus was coming from Ransoo when a group of militants opened fire at the bus. Due to the attack, the driver of the bus lost control and the bus fell into a deep gorge near the Kanda area of Pouni. Celebs such as Kangana Ranaut, Siddharth Anand and Anupam Kher have strongly condemned the attack.

Celebs react to the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir

Actor-turned-politician and MP Kangana Ranaut took to her X handle and penned a note on the terror attack. "I strongly condemn the cowardly terrorist attack on the pilgrims in Reasi, Jammu & Kashmir. They were going for Vaishnodevi Darshan and terrorists open fired them only because they were Hindus. I pray for the departed and hope for the swift recovery of the injured. Om shanti," read her post.

Veteran actor Anupam Kher also took to his X account to condemn the incident and wrote "Angry, Pained and Saddened by the cowardly attack on pilgrims in Reasi. Jammu! May Almighty give the loved ones of victims the strength to bear the pain and loss. Prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured."

Varun Dhawan took to his Instagram Stories and wrote, “Devastated by the horrific attack on innocent pilgrims in Reasi. I strongly condemn this cowardly terrorist act. Praying for the departed souls. My condolences to the victims and their families. Om Shanti.”

Riteish Deshmukh took to his X handle to condemn the incident and wrote, "Heart broken & devastated with the visuals of the Reasi terror attack. Prayers with the victims and families."

Director Siddharth Anand, who recently directed Fighter, inspired by the 2019 Pulwama attack, shared an image which read, "All eyes on Vaishno Devi attack. Despicable. Evil. Unpardonable. Innocent pilgrims. Children. Murdered by COWARDS."

Union Minister Amit Shah, meanwhile, said those involved in the dastardly terror attack on pilgrims in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi will not be spared and will face the wrath of the law. "Deeply pained by the incident of the attack on pilgrims in Reasi, J&K. Spoke to the Lieutenant Governor and the DGP, J&K, and inquired about the incident. The culprits of this dastardly attack will not be spared and will face the wrath of the law," he wrote on X.
