The last phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections is underway today. In the last phase of the elections, voting is being held in 57 parliamentary constituencies across eight states and the Union Territories including Bihar, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. Kangana Ranaut, Mithun Chakraborty and Gul Panag are among the celebrities who exercised their franchise to vote today. 

Kangana Ranaut casts her vote in Mandi 

On June 1, Kangana Ranaut exercised her right to vote in the last phase of the general elections. The actor cast her vote in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. Urging voters to cast their vote, Kangana told ANI, "I appeal to everyone to exercise their right to vote in this festival of democracy. There has been so much bloodshed so that we can exercise this right".

The actress, who is making her foray into politics with this election from Mandi, also added, "There is a complete Modi wave in Himachal Pradesh. Our Prime Minister has conducted almost 200 rallies, and gave atleast 80-90 interviews in just two months.’ 

Mithun Chakraborty waits in queue for 40 minutes to vote 

Mithun cast his vote at a polling station in Belgachia in Kolkata district. The actor was seen wearing a black kurta paired with a black cap and sunglasses. He told ANI, "I am a BJP cadre, I have done my duty. I will talk about films from tomorrow because I have to feed my family too."

Mithun Chakraborty was among the first voters to arrive at the polling booth this morning. He reportedly waited in line for 40 minutes to cast his vote. The actor urged citizens to come out and exercise their right to vote. 

Gul Panag flaunts inked finger as she votes in Punjab 

Actor Gul Panag was among the early voters in Punjab as polling for the Lok Sabha Elections Phase 7 got underway today. After casting her vote at a polling station in Mahadian, Gul took to Instagram and shared a couple of pictures of her flaunting her inked finger. "Early birds," she captioned the post.

Over the last six phases, voting has been completed in 486 Lok Sabha seats across 28 States and Union Territories. Today, the voting is taking place in the remaining 42 Assembly constituencies of the Odisha State Legislative Assembly. The counting of the votes polled is scheduled to take place on June 4 when the results will be known
