Richa Chadha Defends Pregnant Deepika Padukone Wearing High Heels Amid Trolling

Richa Chadha took to her social media account to defend Deepika Padukone when netizens questioned the latter’s fashion choices at the Kalki event. The Piku actress in her third trimester attended the pre-release event of her upcoming movie Kalki 2898 AD in Mumbai. She attended the event in high heels, because of which she was criticised. Mom-to-be Richa Chadha has now defended the actress. 

Richa Chadha defends Deepika Padukone 

On June 20, immediately after the pre-release event of Kalki 2898 AD, Deepika Padukone was criticised for wearing high heels while being pregnant. An influencer took to her Instagram account to support the actress and urged social media users to not judge her. She also claimed that people who are not in her shoes should not make opinions about her. 

Richa Chadha was among the few people who commented on the video. The actress quoted a famous line from the series FRIENDS, and wrote, “No uterus, no gyaan”. Richa’s reply has now gone viral on social media. 

Deepika flaunts her baby bump at Kalki event 

Deepika is currently in the 2nd trimester of her pregnancy. For the Kalki 2898 AD event, she opted for a black, body-hugging outfit. Ahead of the gathering, she dropped a picture on social media in which she flaunted her baby bump. Earlier, the actress was on the receiving end of criticism as social media users alleged that her baby bump was "fake". Her latest picture is a befitting reply to trolls as well. The picture she shared appeared hazy.

Deepika Padukone will be seen in a pivotal role in Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD, set to release on June 27. At the event, she posed with the team of Kalki 2898 AD on stage.
