Sunil Shetty and his son Ahan have expanded their real estate portfolio by recently purchasing a property in Mumbai, marking another milestone. This acquisition follows the announcement that Ahan Shetty will star in Border 2, the sequel to his father’s iconic film. As per reports, the property, acquired through a bank auction, is whopping crores.

Father-son duo Sunil Shetty and Ahan invested in a luxury property

As per reports, Sunil Shetty and his son Ahan Shetty recently bought a 1,200-square-foot property in Mumbai for ₹8.01 crore in a bank auction, as indicated by property registration documents accessed via prop-tech platform Square Yards.

The property, located in Khar West, Bandra, is in one of Mumbai's most coveted areas due to its premium amenities, robust infrastructure, and excellent connectivity to key locations, including the international airport. The sale, finalised in October 2024, included a stamp duty of ₹40.08 lakh and a registration fee of ₹30,000, according to the documents.

Square Yards also highlighted that other celebrities like Ranveer Singh , Deepika Padukone , KL Rahul , and Athiya Shetty have recently invested in Bandra, a desirable location due to its proximity to the Bandra-Kurla Complex and commercial centres in Worli and Andheri.

Another Bollywood father-son duo also made headlines this week by purchasing properties together through a joint investment.

Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan brought 10 luxury apartments

Earlier this week, Bollywood’s father-son duo, Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan, made headlines by purchasing 10 apartments valued at ₹24.95 crore in Mumbai’s Mulund area.

According to property registration documents shared by Square Yards, these apartments are part of the Oberoi Eternia project by Oberoi Realty.
